Hi could you please translate the same to Chichewa?

Lingua Franca Nova (“Elefen”) is a language designed to be particularly simple, consistent, and easy to learn for international communications. It has a number of positive qualities:

1. It has a limited number of phonemes. It sounds similar to Italian or Spanish.

2. It is phonetically spelled. No child should have to spend years learning irregularities.

3. It has a completely regular grammar, similar to the world’s creoles.

4. It has a limited and completely regular set of productive affixes for routine word derivation.

5. It has well-defined rules for word order, in keeping with many major languages.

6. Its vocabulary is strongly rooted in modern Romance languages. These languages are themselves widespread and influential, plus they have contributed the major part of English vocabulary.

7. It is designed to be naturally accepting of Latin and Greek technical neologisms, the de facto “world standard”.

8. It is designed to seem relatively “natural” to those who are familiar with Romance languages, without being any more difficult for others to learn.

A new feature for previewing references on your wiki

Hello Tumbuka Arch, apologies for writing in English. I am reaching out to you because I couldn't find your wiki's village pump, and I hope it's okay to write you directly.

Some months ago, my team (Technical Wishes) at Wikimedia Deutschland introduced Reference Previews to many wikis, including this one. This new feature shows popups for references in the article text, and it is already usable on your wiki. However, most people are not seeing it yet because your wiki has set a gadget as the default for previewing references.

We are planning to remove the default flag from the gadget soon on nywiki and on all other wikis that have less than 4 interface admins and are also global sysop wikis. If you disagree with this change, or would like to perform it yourself, please let us know on this talk page by February 23. We would like to perform the change in the last week of February.

What does this change mean?

• The new default for reference popups on your wiki will be Reference Previews.
• However, anyone who wants to keep using the gadget, can still enable it in the personal settings.

The benefit of having Reference Previews as the default is that the user experience will be consistent across wikis and with the Page Previews feature, and that the software will be easier to maintain overall.

Of course, it will be possible to undo the change, by defining Reference Tooltips as a default gadget again.
